i cut back the flowering stem of an orchid,will it grow back?

The flowering stem won't grow back, but it's very likely that the plant will send out another stem when the time is right. Sounds like you're doing a good job, or it wouldn't flower!

no, it doesn't need to
when the orchid gets ready to bloom again it will send out a new stem
