Mum is a dear isn't she?...lmao had to be english there for a minute...tell her to do what she wants...if it makes her happy...your lucky to have your mum...I might say something like...are you sure that's what you want mum?...it's a bit out of date isn't it?...and whatever she says leave it at that...wisdom dictates to stay out of conflict if it can be helped...wig from the 50s'...lol...thats trick...

What makes people happy has no date or season; be glad that your mother isn't set in her ways and stuffy, and help her choose the kind of wig she wants!
BTW - wigs were popular in the 70s, too ;-)
