Cross dressers really tick me off because I take a large shoe size and every time there's a really good sale at a top shoe store, they get there first and get all the good stuff. Other than that, I don't have any thoughts about them at all.

People should not be judged for what they wear but for their actions instead. Society as a whole has a negative attitude about crossdressing and crossdressers themselves.

I can only think that many are blinded by the fact that it is not the clothing that makes the person. Society dictates that women wear dresses and pants while men can only wear pants. A bit of discrimination?

The media has not helped crossdressers, but has done more harm than good. A lot of times a crossdresser is made out to be the butt of someones joke or for comedy relief. The news media makes it like crossdressers are sexual perverts or mental cases where that is not the case. We see on the internet how many sites are devoted to make crossdressers out as sexual targets, although a lot of those sites are being pushed down the hit list on the browser.

A point of fact, men have worn (based on today's fashions) women's fashions for centuries. As an example, a tunic is a nothing more than a dress; the main part of a kilt is a skirt; a sarong is a skirt; loin cloths are skirts. Get the idea?

There is nothing wrong with crossdressing and should not be shunned away. There is no proof that crossdressing is harmful to one's own self or to any member of society. There is no proof that crossdressing is a sexual perversion. There is no proof that crossdressing is a homosexual act (most are heterosexuals). In fact, it is good for the economy, women's clothing stores have a new customer base to profit from.

Those that laugh at crossdressers are narrow minded individuals with no self respect. If they cannot respect themselves, how can they respect others?

My favorite saying goes, "Don't knock crossdressing it you've never tried it for a while."

I like crossdressers (well, except for a few who started to transition as full transexuals, discovered it wasn't who they were, and decided the rest of us were just like them.)

In general, I don't think a man should be judged for what he wears - though there is a bit of 'appropriate to the setting' factor that justifies a bit of judgement (like, no wearing just lingerie to a business meeting :p)

I'm still not really sure why people get so rude about it, I have my theories but I wouldn't say any are facts. I think some are threatened by anything that questions the "Almighty Macho Status" men are supposed to aspire to, some others are scared it's a 'gay trap' (which is silly since most crossdressers are heterosexual, but you can't argue with fools) and some are just too stuck on the whole 'you must conform to the norm, lack of conformity is bad' idea.

They are very nice, kind people. They just march to the beat of a different drummer, that is all. They seem to be much more creative, and sensitive, as far as how strongly they feel about things. But I wouldn't call them weak, not by a long shot.

I was trying to tell a "girl" about the Universalist Unitarians, because as far as I know they are, like the only church that will never try to change cross-dressers, they have a large population of those types of people, generally speaking. I felt bad for her, she was to frightened to let me talk to her, even though I knew she liked me as a friend. The people I was with were treating her in such an ignorant way.

She was the prettiest "girl" on our block, no kidding. None of the women who were convinced they were real women came anywhere close to her.

I don't understand why men want to dress as women, or why some women dress as men. But I don't have to understand it, and it's not my business.

There's a much stronger stigma regarding men who cross dress, though, when compared to women who cross dress as men. And I don't fully understand why. But I guess it is the same as with gay men, who are more stigmatized than lesbians.

And to be honest, I have to admit that male cross dressers creep me out a little bit. I hate to admit that. Because I know they are not doing anything wrong or harmful. I wouldn't dislike anyone for being a cross dresser, but at some level it does make me a little uncomfortable.

And to all of the transgendered people out there, please don't take this the wrong way. I think it takes a lot of courage to be transgendered, and I think we all deserve respect.

I don't think people should be judged for what they look like on the outside, it's just their personal preference on style. They could be a totally cool person on the inside and there is no need for laughing at them. Personally, I think it's ridiculous, but I'm not going to talk crap about them and make fun of them and hate them or anything, it's just who they are and I respect that.

there are various distinctive concepts of god, so no person is accustomed to the dazzling answer for specific, yet once you assert god is stable, and loves everyone, then why could desire to the clothing you positioned on count number? Its whats on the interior that counts, and besides, 'boy' clothing and 'female' clothing are in basic terms made up. What makes purple distinctive than blue, different than the frequency of sunshine? Why could it particularly is incorrect for a girl to love bob the builder? And if god is so super, why could he decide human beings in step with their dermis shade, their gender, or the clothing they positioned on? for the reason that whilst is he judgmental and recommend?

Not sure I understand your question...I don't care if you are a cross dresser...but I'm not laughing at you. I'm not judging you at all on that characteristic.

I say if you are one, you better be believable/good at it because otherwise, I'm just being honest---it's hilarious! My sister and I saw one in Victoria's Secret and he only had a blonde wig on and still kept his mustache...I mean come on...at least go all the way...everyone was laughing at him. He looked ridiculous.
