You can get your hair done at a cutrate for $10 or a fancy salon for $50 and if you are a celebrity they charge you $300 for the same service.
You can buy a bit of clothing for $20 at a discount house or the same piece of clothing for $250 at a department store or $900 at a fancy boutique or $9 000 and up from a designer and it is still just some fabric, ain't it?
Same for footwear.
Yes, movies and food.
Gas, my Lord, already forgotten haven't I?
Concerts/shows/sporting events.
The list is endless.

Houses and land. And if you are fortunate enough to own both [as in PAID FOR !!] see what happens if you don't pay your property taxes for a few years. I saw in some movie a few years back,..a 'Western',..where a 1st Nations/Native American [formerly called Indians-which is now politically incorrect] person said regarding the prospect of land ownership of the recent invaders; "Who can own the land?". And you could pay as much as you could afford to monthly for many years, but not quite having the place paid for, miss one or two mortage payments and the bank will cruely have you kicked out and sell the place as quickly as they can,..only caring about recovering their money owed,..while not caring about what you may get if the place was almost paid for! EVERYTHING, except for pesticide ridden fruits and vegetables, and unhealthy, pre-packaged meals, so Americans can continue to get fatter and more unhealthy, and make the pharmaceutical companies, and the health care industry richer!
Wow, I sound like one of those idiots on a diatribe that I usually tell to get a blog!
Maybe I'll do that..., but you did ask...
