The best parenting agreement tends to be one that both parents feel comfortable with and work together for the best interests of the child. However, this can change depending how well the two parents work together on the issues.

Some ideas are
* Rotating the child's birthday each year. Odd years are designated to be with one parent and even years with the other.
* The child will spend time with the parent on their respective birthday.
* Mother's day is to be spent with the mother, and father's day is spent with the mother.
* Typically an evening or two during the week for 2 hours.
* Holidays are split with some rotated (Christmas Day, Christmas Eve,Thanksgiving, Easter, Memorial Day).
* One overnight during the weekend.
* Vacation time during the summer.

To me, reasonable visitation is when it is fair to both parties. I understand that you have been the primary caregiver, but your ex should now be given the chance to be a father.

When my ex and I split, our girls were 6 months and 20 months old, and we both wated to keep it fair between us. He has them 3 days a week and I have them 4. Holidays are split, and both of us have 2 weeks of vacation time. We've been on the same schedule now for over 9 years and its still working great.
