Call repair man and have them check it out, too see whats wrong, or just by a new one, because repair on the unit will probably cost you more then to have a repair man add freon if that's what it needs. try turning off the ice maker if it has one sometimes that will cause the frig to lose its cool. but if its getting hot than you have a big problem. Try cleaning underneath of it or the back of it if it has coils. My suggestion is go by a new one,

You know your refrigerator isn't supposed to heat anything, right?
Check the thermostat inside first..make sure it's set to a cold setting..If it's not keeping anything cold and the motor is still running I'd say unplug it and get a new one. good luck!

get a vaccum cleaner and clean the dust off of the heat dissipating
coils. they are either on the back or underneath. in any case,
clean the stuff out from under the refrigerator.

If its not doing anything but the motor is running just unplug it so it doesnt use your electricity. You should buy a new one if you dont want to fool around with trying to find out whats wrong with it.

Buy a new refrigerator. To repair it would most likely be more expensive than buying a new one (unless it's relatively new..in that case use the warranty)

Add Freon

It's obvious that you have lost the Freon refrigerant.

Call and appliance repair guy, tell him that your refrig needs to be recharged and have him come do it.
