This is the present, that is the past, now this is the present..Andso on.To anyone time goes by exactly like that.I feel that time is something that only exists if you are aware of it.I think that travel to the past and future is possible. You have to think about it this way. This is the present, that is the past, now this is the present. This is your perspective of time it's different for everyone.I believe everyone is born at the same time.If you are one year older than someone then you live 1 year in their past. That way there is always someone to be aware of the time which creates the constant present.I feel this is how time travel happens, you move faster than normal, eventually you move to another persons present and the ages are equal then after that add the difference. Travel to past is opposite subtract the difference you can do anything but alter the past because it has happend already unlike the future. The future is constantly making the present and the perspective is diverse.

The question is, does what I just wrote make sense?

2006-11-25 14:00:43 · update #1

This is a thought I'm just now developing. I'm trying to say that time cannot be altered but only created and that everyone has their own perspective of it. The only way this can happen is if everyones life starts at the same time, otherwise the perspective of time is the same for everyone, this prevents time from being altered. If this did not happen then the past would become the future and the future would not exist unmaking everything.

The perspective of the time is your interperitation of how the light moves into your eyes and every other thing you feel is what your brain makes you feel according to the light. The sound travels perspective wise different to light which creates the perspective in being different I mean slower. Which means life is only an illusion and it happens different for everyone.

2006-11-25 14:44:03 · update #3

The difference is the interperitation of the light. As the light moves further the present is constantly being created. The past cannot be altered because it is there and will always be there the same. Travel to the past is possible because you can see what you've already saw. But how you see the light is unique and everything that happens is an illusion. By illusion I mean you see yourself being born and then your childeren. Your mind cannot understand that everyone is there at the same time because the mind sees the light and interperets it in sequence. This is how GOD created everything he is the sourse or the light. Everyone must understand that life is the same no more is added or subtracted. And the reason you cannot move faster than light is because you can't see the light anymore which means that the illusion is gone. The mind can no longer interperet the light which is god sending the already made message which creates the illusion.

2006-11-25 15:05:48 · update #4

As in the case for the blind the light can still be sensed by the mind through touch the light has different intensity that can still be sensed through other parts of the body. If there are no senses for the light at all then the prospective is none and skips to the end of time.

2006-11-25 15:12:55 · update #5

That is just an explanation for how everyone is born at the same time and even goes further to explain how God exists without having a God himself.

2006-11-25 15:16:17 · update #6

Because everyone is born at the same time and your prospective of how it happens is in the sequense of when you see the light of the new person and when this happens you then see the new light coming unique to you creating the illusion of the event in meeting the new person but still the person is there as they have always been. This is why you cannot remember your own birth because it happened already. Death is the same but it is at the end of what we call time and the only reason we see others dieing sooner is because the mind intereperets everything in sequence uniquely.

First off Einstein isn't the authority on time travel he just summed it up and gave most of us a rational hold on what it is. If there is a such thing as time which we all know there is then the theory that we may be all created at the same moment will disprove itself, how could a mother with a baby inside of her be on the same time perspective as the baby. There is know way a human could move fast enough to travel through time without disintegrating, i will agree that the most logical way time travel could be achieved is through perception: Meditation for instance, martial artist use meditation to formulate their fights taking the luck of the draw, sucker punch, cheap shots of the equation and also Pre meditating every back and forth staying consistent with a certain game plan. In a way the martial artist has seen his future but then there are variables in this theory as in every theory on time travel, i believe that a human traveling through time physically is and will be impossible for time to come. Dealing with Cerebral matters is the key i believe, out of body experiences are scientifically reasonable, why couldn't that displaced Aura transcend time

i think it doesn't make sense it seems like just a lucid interpretation of a possible connection between human consciousness and time;- thought experiment- a single person is created (just one) from a test tube by robots no other humans exist nor will they ,then what defines time for this individual?he is not in any ones past or vice versa also if you cant alter past but you can the future wouldn't that be like altering the present which i think according to this theory is (or will be i am not to sure) the past um yea i lost lost my train of thought.

There is a skit in " Spaceballs " ( the movie ) that deals with this very subject...

Sandurz: Sir, I have an idea. Corporal, get me the video cassette of Spaceballs: the Movie.
Dark Helmet: Colonel Sandurz, may I speak with you please? How can there be a video cassette of the movie? We're still in the middle of making it!
Sandurz: Yes, but there's been a new breakthrough in home video marketing.
Dark Helmet: There has?
Sandurz: Yes. Instant cassettes. They're out in stores before the movie is finished.

Dark Helmet: What the hell am I looking at? When does this happen in the movie?
Sandurz: Now, you're looking at now, sir. Everything that's happening now is happening now.
Dark Helmet: What happened to then?
Sandurz: We missed it.
Dark Helmet: When?
Sandurz: Just now. You're at now now.
Dark Helmet: Go back to then.
Sandurz: When?
Dark Helmet Now.
Sandurz: We can't.
Dark Helmet: Why?
Sandurz: We missed it.
Dark Helmet: When?
Sandurz: Just now.
Dark Helmet: When will then be now?
Sandurz: Soon.
Dark Helmet: How soon?
[Corporal fast-forwards the tape back to scene showing protagonists wandering in desert.]
Corporal: Sir!
Dark Helmet: What?!
Corporal: We have uncovered their location.
Dark Helmet: Where?!
Corporal: It's the moon of Vega.
Sandurz: Very good, set a course and prepare for our arrival.
Dark Helmet: [increasingly flustered] When?!
Corporal: 1900 hours.
Sandurz: By high noon tomorrow, they will be our prisoners.
Dark Helmet: WHO?!!

Your theorem is unique!!!

But, how is time measured by?...

You cannot be in the past, present and future at the same time...

What about matter and anti-matter?...

Anyway, by your hypothesis, it is a paradigm...if everyone were born at the same time but you were born 1 year in "their" past...then how could you have any idea about "their past if they did not live it?

Let me know...
Good Luck...

If you want to understand the feasibility of time travel, read the first chapter of any book on Einstien's theory of relativity. Matter and energy are, in theory, interchangeable. It helps you grasp the concepts of what's physically possible as we understand physics today.

Not to me it doesn't. But I haven't had a lot of time to think on it. Actually I never have thought of it in one way or the other. But now I may give it some consideration

Phewwww...I read it, and I think I understand where you are coming from...way into the future!! I tried to explain to my children that they are the same age as me, but somehow it didn't quite work!

Sorry, I can't agree with your assessment. Maybe I will in the future?
