I'd have to guess their long necks, which enables them to eat leaves that are higher up on trees that can't be reached by other animals.

Of course there is adaptation. As the trees grew taller on the plains, the animals with the slightly longer necks got to eat a little more, and were a little better nourished, and maybe had a few more babies over their lifetimes. In this way they were a little better represented in the next generation. Over a very long time, this selection process yielded the very long-necked creature we call a giraffe. (The long rough tongue was also selected for in a similar manner because the trees developed rough leaves and thorns.)

there is no adaption lady , it is God who created that perfect neck for his creature so we can learn from it , you can adopt to climate, wetter etc but you dont adopt by extending your nack otherwise we would not have anything small or weak < think about it
