I just bought the Logitech fusion webcam and it states it has 30 FPS.?

Question

When I view the statistics it shows that I am running at around 3-6 FPS. My question is how do I get 30 FPS. Is it my webcam or my computer. The computer is new Compaq nc8430 and I am using a lynxis wireless router. Could it be my router. If I connect directly to a cable modem will I get 30 FPS. Thanks

I think if you read it carefully it says "up to" 30 fps.

Actual performance depends on the setup and the host CPU, as well as window size and all that.
