She is an old neighbor who only ever talked to me when she needed something from me. She has moved away and I have not heard from her in 2 months. She left me a message 3 days ago asking if I would watch her kids overnight so she could go to a Christmas party. I am tempted to call her and explain that I would love to, but I just feel used. I just don't know that it would teach her anything, what would you do???

It sounds that this is a one way friendship and you my friend are the street. I would suggest that you do not call her because taking care of kids is a big responsability and it sounds like she would take your hourse if anything were to happen to them. Besides, who in the heck leaves their kids behind to go to Christmas party???
Don't call her.

just pray that she does not meet a less humble person like you and try to use that person they notice and then she gets slapped. she needs a lesson but we humans are not the ones that need to make revenge even though i would love to do it for you and trust me i would! but this is for God and he has heard you trust me God is a smart dude he is the one that asked Adam and Eve what they were hiding for hoping they would tell the truth i mean read Genises and Exodus and see what he does about revenge. that lady is not worth the breath in your mouth or the time of day!chill out bout it it is fine. she will learn

I think I would call her back. You don't need to be mean to her but, it may be more rude to ignore the call. She probably has no idea that you feel that way. Who knows what will happen if you're honest with her.

I think that you should volunteer to watch her kids as a kindly gesture. I also recommend bringing over some drinks and snacks so that she can refresh herself after you've left.

I would not call her back. Don't be a doormat...you seem to be very kind. She can smell your kindness as if you stepped in dog poop & she is trying to capitalize & use you--I betcha if you did keep her kids that you wouldn't even charge her, would you? Just ignore her calls

I would not call her back.If she is oinly calling you when she wants something than that is not good at all.I would just leave her alom\ne and not do anything else for her.it is your decision but it sounds to me like she is just wanting to call when she needs a favor.keep yourself happy and good luck.
