I used to work in two factories and a warehouse. In the warehouse situation, I wouldn't wear it at work, because I did wear my first ring, and lost it loading a customer's order in his truck. I felt so guilty that I bought another. At the two factories, it was a safety issue. The ring can get caught up in the machinery and he could lose a finger. I am a 1st Responder also, and I actually had a fellow employee who was a new hire. He chose to wear his ring (he was a newly wed) after I told him to take it off. He ended up getting his hand caught in a press and crushed his hand, and as you can guess, he lost his whole hand. There are men who will not wear their rings so they can seem to be available, but don't think that the ring will be a "keep away" sign to other women. One of my best friends, living in Sacramento, CA stopped wearing his ring because of the opposite: When he wore his ring, he couldn't keep women from approaching him.almost as if they considered it a challenge. It can work both ways, and just because a guy doesn't wear a ring, it doesn't necessarily mean he is trying to have his cake and eat it too.

If rings are safe to work in the work environment; then probably the reason the married guy doesn't wear it is because he has cheating on his mind. Please don't contribute to this. Unfortunately not all but many people do take their marriage vows seriously. This guy does not and it probably is only a matter of time before he disrespects his wife and cheats on her. Don't be apart of this no matter how much you like him and figure you have nothing to lose. It is wrong and hurts innocent people and children with this happens.

Hmm. All I can say is that my husband did not wear his ring and then I found out he was quite the player. Of course he is my ex now, but that still did not stop the drama of the whole divorce, custody, etc.
Stay away from married men, just a word of advice from a former wife ..... depending on which state you live in, they can go after you for 'alienating' the affection of a spouse, regardless of the fact that he pursued you, or whether you knew he was married or not.

if you think that he doesn't wear his wedding ring because he 's a good guy and into you_____ forget it. He may be unhappy in his marraige, but he is still married to his wife. Stay away from this guy and let him get free and divorced before you get involved. Trust me, I know what happens when they don't wear the ring and cheat on you. It is the worst feeling in the world. You don't want to be a part of that.

answer to your first question he sometimes does not wear the ring because he probably has a girl friend on the sly, but it shouldnt be any of your business and the saddest thing to me is a pathetic b*tch going for a married man especially one who does not appear loyal, why would you want a guy who flirts with other women while he is married? you must have very low self esteem boo hoo

I'd say that if there is no danger to his hands at work, and he is not allergic to his ring, but he simply chooses not to wear it, then, yes, his marriage is in trouble. He is trying to show somebody that he is "available". Make sure it's not you!

Girl run for your life. He is a dog. He is the type of man that could cheat on his wife. I would call his wife and let her know. Let her deal with him. Another option is file a sexual harrassment complaint on him or tell him if he keeps it up you will and follow up with it.
