Can anyone tell me if you are going away for the weekend, is it cheaper to turn the water heater off or leave it on. This is only small water heater in a one bedroom apt.

leave it on,, you will be gone so no water will be used!! the heat in the tank will last a long time before the water gets cool enough to turn it on again so you will not use that much energy!!!

probably cheaper to leave it on. If you are going to be gone for a month or so, it would be different.

turn off, its not nessisary to leave on, save u some green
