This question is about coats. Does a long wool coat look good on a short, heavy person yes or no and why?

The wool fabric should be fine on you!
However, the length of the coat could be a problem based on your height.
If you wear a long coat, your body will appear much, much shorter than it really is because you're covering up everything except for your calves! The long coat messes with your proportions and may make it look like you're drowning in it.
Opt for the cropped wool pea coat styles that you can find at a store like Old Navy (oldnavy.com) for cheap, or Sears (sears.ca) for more expensive styles.

No. Short people look bad in long coats it just takes them over. Try a shorter wool pea coat. Its long enough to keep you warm but you want look over whelmed by it. One with a belt will help show off the curves of a heavier person. Go for a coat that's a bit lower than your waist it will make your legs look longer.

I don't think that it's the wool that's the problem, it's the length of the coat. If its length is in proportion to your height and the coat fits well then it's gonna look good. Have the coat professionally tailored and it will look great. The tailor can tell you where it should fall on your body. It's money well spent!!

Long, no. It makes you look shorter so go for one that's mid-length. You can do the wool as long as it's not too heavy or balky, you can also go for a belted coat to accentuate your waistline, hope this helps.

Hmm...nicely for my area, black suits with each thing different than brown. i think of it is going to look o.k., yet i think of the black boots could have appeared greater advantageous. you could honestly nonetheless positioned on them nonetheless. :) wish I helped.
