autos are like human beings and mechanics could be observed as quite automobile medical doctors yet without Q+A i'm going to objective to help it particularly is a ninety 4 so the matenence could be something to envision if the radiator is even grimy on the exterior it won't help and properly how approximately changeing the fluid in the radiator no longer a lot of human beings do this and it particularly is going to be completed each and every 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, if no longer it has a tendency to start depositing impurities on the interior merely as oil that's no longer replaced normally. My suggestion in case you decide on would be to empty the fluid and verify the exterior and blow it clean with rigidity water and or air watever you are able to and if that does no longer make a difference have the thermostat checked.additionally a loose or broken belt would reason issues like that costly.

What led up to it running hot? Involved in an accident? Did you have some repairs done?
A lot of times, an air pocket in the cooling system can be the cause.
Is your radiator clogged up with bugs? No air flow = no cooling.
Do you get heat? When you turn the heater on, do you get warm air? Might be a stuck thermostat.
How long does it run until it gets hot? (overheats)
What size engine?
Do your cooling fans ever turn on? (The ones by the radiator.)
Have you checked the serpentine belt?
These would be the places I would start.

If it's the original radiator, it's probably pretty plugged up.
