I get a period every 23 days, and it will only last 3 days. is that normal?

i'm 20...a few years ago it was like every 26 days and it lasted longer but now it's every 23 days and it only lasts 3 days

There's not such a thing as "Regular" or "Normal" period at all, as you body changes with maturity your cycle too, every menstrual cycle will be different almost per month until the "change of life" Why? cuz age and habits in nutrition, health , sexual activity are always changing... what is normal is the differences... now let me ask you... is your period now exactly the same as it was the first time or whenever u started having it? bet is not.... is heavy-er and some times painful. Also, as soon as you started being sexually active ur period changed again. Isn't it?

Yes, quite normal. Not everyone has the full 28 day cycle, your body will determine when and for how long.

Yeah its normal if that's the way it has always been. If your on birth control that will make it shorter too.

we are all different. so this is probably your normal cycle. Ask your GYN to be sure. If you are approaching menopause, this is something that happens also--shorter cycles, then eventually no cycles. Best wishes!

for some it is my friends only lasts two mine goes five and I know girls that are on it for seven...it varies person to person
