I have a name book and this is what is says:
Linnea brings to mind a elderly lady who is nice and sincere. To others, it is pictured as a loner in school or as a nerd. It is not really a popular name and is very unique and when surveyed, majority voted dull and uncommon.
The surveys consisted of great, nice, okay, dull, uncommon, disliked and disgusted.
personally i think that the name is okay, but i really think that your better off with a different name.

I had a friend at summer camp named Linnea over 10 years ago.
I think there's a children's book called "Linnea's Garden".
Also, it reminds me of Linnaeus, the "father of modern taxonomy"

I do not. It reminds me of the Linea Nigra, the line between the belly button and the pubic area that darkens with pregnancy. Sorry.
