i am not sexually active but i do masterbate...and recently i have been bleeding while masturbating and its not time for my period...my friend said i was probablly just irritating my skin too much...but should i talk to my doctor about this?

Depends on what you are doing. Are you just using your fingers or something bigger? Have you ever had sex before or are you a virgin? If you are using something bigger, and are a virgin, you are beginning to tear your hymen. It won't hurt anything but I would be more gentle if I were you.

could be sign of a mild bacterial infection, but, how are you masturbating? if your just rubbing your clit, bleeding would be very worrisome, but if you're inserting fingers or objects, especially without lube or if you are a virgin, you may want to try using lube. if you are, and you're hymen is not the cause, I'd get checked out.

yeah, be safe,stay healthy, you shouldn't masturbate so often though, you might get an infection! Watch out!
