I had a girlfriend who had really bad cramps like that, and when nothing else seemed to work her doctor suggested she try masturbating, because orgasms cause contractions of the muscles around the uterus, and it's suppose to make them ease up a bit. she said it helped to, and also helps shed the lining so you don't get the brown old blood discharges later on. If you don't want to masturbate, any type of excercise that works those muscles should help. It' probably the last thing in the world you want to do right now, but it helps. Also apply heat. Try eating a banana

You should go see a good doctor/gyn who will examine you can make sure you have no medical problems that could cause the cramps.
In the meantime, limit salt. That helps. And put warm compresses on your tummy, like a medium heat on a heating pad. Surprisingly exercise helps too. Go for a slow walk and see if that helps.

OOOOKKK FOR REAAAAL!!
take vitamin C between periods, every day. Right now take 3 ibuprofin or advil or whatever. Rub your achilles tendon hard for 15 mins, and do the hot water bottle on your belly. Most effective for me is just sleeping if you can. But seriously the tendon and water bottle things work......

Okay, this sounds weird but sit-ups are supposed to help a lot. I suggest starting between periods though. Also, stay away from all caffeine, and remember that means chocolate too. (sucks, I know) Cutting back on sodium will help with bloating, and take some mydol!!!

i read from somewhere that walking or doing a little exercise will do the trick. it relaxes your abdominal muscles and at the same time, it gets your mind off the pain you are feeling. but if the pain really persisit, try some pain relievers such as dolfenal.
