go here: http://antivirus.comodo.com/ download this antivirus program and run it. If it is a virus, then this program will clear it up. Taking a pc to a repair shop is the same as taking a car to a mechanic...the repairmen have different rates so shop around if it should become necessary. However if you are using windows XP IM me and I can look at your PC remotely and see what is going on with it.

Sometimes with certain websites the downloads are pretty shabby and they dont last long because of bandwidth if you had a virus you wouldnt be able to use your computer at all. Make sure you have the right tools when your downloading your music. and you have and antivirus software that way you can keep virus' away.

Don't you have any antivirus? It is available for free from Grisoft called AVG antivirus, get the free download. When you have downloaded it and registered it and updated it, do a full scan of your computer, get rid of any nasties. Then download Ad-Aware SE the free download, update it and then do a thorough scan including negligible risks, then you should be fine.

pandasoft has a free search section. you don't need their antivirus, just add small file to allow panda to do its thing. it is great backup even if you do have avg or other.
