Because the United States did not trust Japan, they made all the Japanese-Americans give up their homes and property (including money and belongings) and go to live in camps in other states. Well the women had to make the weapons, food and operate everytrhing while their husbands/sons/brothers were at war. Some women were docters and they helped men on the battlefield.
