Wii Vs Ps2?

If so, I'm sick of answering that.

Now, Wii vs a PS2 is actually a pretty interesting question, in my book.

Wii has only slightly better graphical capability. The PS2 has a heck of a lot more games out for it. The Wii was just released, so it bearly has any in comparison. Nintendo's track record seems to show that the Wii won't have that many games out for it ever, but there will be more really good quality games. There are tons of crappy games for the PS2. The PS2 is quite a bit cheaper and finding games to rent won't be a problem either and you already know what's there and is good. But the Wii is just starting and who knows what developers are going to do with that control system. It was origionaly called 'Revolution' and rightly so, it's that if nothing else.

If you really just want a solid, standard gaming experince. Grand Theft Auto and Final Fantasy, deffinetly go with the PS2, it's got what you're looking for and lots of it. But if you want to step into the new generation and wanna try something a little bit crazy, a lot different and loaded with possibilitys go with the Wii. It's a great system, if you can be satisfied with sub-standard graphics.

*edit* The Wii control system is not the dramatic physical workout people are painting it to be. They've either never played it or spend *way* too much time on the couch. A simple flick of the wrist generates all the reaction you're looking for, if that's too much for you, put down the freakin Big Mac and see a Doctor.

Social dee is so wrong in saying that the Wii has no games, because it plays all old game-cube games so you have an instant library to play with right off the bat, and the games you can download off of the wii site give you even more options. And games like super smash brothers,metroid and the new Zelda game witch by the way will be the game of the year will keep you busy for some time to come. I thought the Wii would suck when i first saw it, but i am sold on how well it does work.
