it is a great book and i love it. it's about an all boy school during ww2 (i think its ww2, its been a while since i read it) and the boys are dealing with the war and growing up and friends and all that stuff, my explination isn't doing it any justice. when i heard the title in school (10th grade i belive) i wasn't excited, it makes it sound boring, but i highly suggest it.

Probably you should read the book to find out. You'll need to read it all the way through to the end or you might not get it.
