Condoms should not be sold at high schools, because it gives the message to all students that it is okay to have sex before marriage. Condoms do not protect people from STDs, and as people should know, STDs are more damaging than pregnancy. STDs are more deadly-it could spread to THE ENTIRE STUDENT BODY, and it can harm a person's life. In addition, condoms have a 1/4 failure rate [i got this from my religion teacher-you might want to check on this fact to be sure]. Therefore, condoms does not protect you 100%. Although the failure rate is low, you should not take chances. Think about it: would you use a parachute knowing that there's a 25% that it will not open?. Yes, selling condoms could earn the high school a few extra cash, but think about the message it's giving. Like I said earlier, you're giving students a wrong message. You're telling them: Hey you can have premarital sex, but don't worry about getting pregnant- you can use condoms (which doesn't really protect you). Schools, in general, are supposed to teach/inform students that premartial sex is wrong, not giving them the wrong message. If you want to decrease the number of pregnancy, schools should provide Sex Eduction, like Tina said. Sex Education scares children (well it did me). In addition, it will help decrease the "amount?" of pregnancy & STDs.

I don't think they should, school is the place for education, sex education such as prevention, and the education to know that a condom should be used, selling them to kids is giving someone a huge profit, nobody should be making money from that, and actually it's like saying OK go have sex, plus if they were in a machine what's to stop younger kids from buying them and fooling around, kids say 7 years old who want to be "adult" could be impacted too, even though schools are pretty good about "guests" in the building, a kid could sneak in. People would steal them, find ways to vandalize the machine and just open a can of worms. And then what teen is gonna walk up and buy them anyhow? Everyone would know they were gonna probably have sex. I'm sure parents would be up in arms too and things could get really ugly. It could lead to other things too like by selling condoms are you gonna sell birth control pills to girls too? What about medications for STD's or pregnancy meds if the condoms break?
Hope that helps.
In all honesty I think in health or sex ed class they should give a few free ones out to promote the dangers of STD's.

The 'Con' in my opinion is the school shouldn't sell them . They should be free of charge for many reasons. People short on cash. more chance of better usage. Less disease and pregnancies if more use condomns and of course more will if they are free.

They should not sell them at a high school. People that young shouldn't need them. That just makes there a reason for them to do something they shouldn't do.
