Well, there was that one time, at band camp.....YES!!! It does hurt.....ow.......

Initially, its extremely painful, the weight of your whole body is suspended by a few staples.. its a searing pain, like getting branded with a hot iron. But then the pain susbsides, and you drift off into a peaceful sleep, which sucks, because this is about the point when your skin gives way and rips away from each of the staples.

What do you think? It's not that pleasent to have little pieces of metal lodged into various places of your body, holding you against your will to the ceiling while you are getting light-headed. So yes, I would say it does hurt to do that. Try not to aim the staple toward you. =]

speaking from experience, hell yes. I hung there like a spider just waiting to be noticed but I had to fall from the celing and crash upon the tv set for anyone to notice but all i got was "you dumb ***, Im going to miss my show now"

I never have stapled myself to a ceiling before but I'm sure it would be very painful. :o)

Yes, but not as much as it would if you did it deliberately. The shock & surprise will diminish the initial pain. If you did it intentionally the anticipation would make it worse.

it hurts like the dickins every time it happens to me. i "accidentally" stapled myself to the ceiling twice today

I don't know, try it, and tell us in the morning after the fireman peels you off the ceiling after the neighbor hears schrill screaming coming from your house.

You have to be super gifted to be able to do that, especially by accident. Can't say I've ever done that, or even thought about doing so.
