I'm loving all these male answers!! What a bunch or sh*t!! If your man is taking his ring off, there is a reason...and it ain't for work. Probably not what you wanted to hear, honey. Look for other signs...they will be there.

No, it doesn't neccessarily mean that. Some men take off their rings probably because the ring itself was giving him allergy, or becuase he felt uncomfortable with the ring on his finger(e.g. the ring was getting a bit too tight after being on the finger the whole day) or even find it to be inconvenient for him to be taking out his ring while washing his hands, then putting it back on..(yes, some people do this in order to avoid losing the ring or dropping it into the basin). But then again, a story can be looked at at different angles, so there is also a possibility that he may not be happy with the marriage.

Because once you find out your (ex)wife is having an affair (or two) and you go through the whole divorce bonanaza, there is really no sense wearing the ring anymore.... I mean, that is why I took mine off, although I put it in a place where I get my hands on it anytime I feel sentimental.
However, I can proudly say that while I was married, I NEVER, EVER took my ring off except to clean it!!! Never at work, never when I played sports, never when I went out with friends. My exwife cannot honestly say the same thing, that is for sure.

My husband works in scrap metal, so he's around a lot of metal crushing machine's, and if his ring were to get cough and crushed so would his finger. So it would make scenes if he took his wedding ring off. But for some reason he normally doesn't. I kinda wish he did though, I maybe wrong but I care more about his finger then a silly wedding ring.
Now I don't work, but my fingers do get swollen for some reason so I normally don't ware my rings at all, and if I do it's normally not all day.
And we are very happily married.
It really just depends on the type of work they do.
Waring a wedding ring or not waring it has nothing to do with whether or not there happy in there marriage.

I am a women and I dont wear mine all the time because it gives me a rash. The ring is real but my hand just does not like it. In the movie training day the cop told the other cop to not wear his ring because people would look at it as a sign of weekness, some people really do play on men weakness.

It doesn't necessarily signify a guy is unhappy in his marriage but it does say that he is looking for other female company, possibly wanting to have an affair and not letting the lady he finds know he is married. I assure you if a guy is happy in his marriage and content sexually he will not take off his ring for any reason.

Im not married...but i do wear a ring and at times it feels uncomfortable to wear it...I dont know why but even though its my favorite ring I can't wear for more than 4 days. I dont think it means your unhappy with the marriage...though the best way to find out would be to just ask him why he takes off the ring? Its a harmless question...so dont be afraid to ask.

It might be because of the work he does. There are jobs where it is a hazard to wear a ring. I use to work in a factory and although wearing rings didn't pose a hazard there were jobs that made it uncomfortable to wear one. Also when I do heavy cleaning I take my rings off so they don't get ruined.
I don't think you have anything to worry about. If he were to wear it to work and not on the weekends then I'd worry.

Somethimes men take their wedding ring off because of the type of work they do. For example if they work construction or with machines there is a possiblity that the ring can get caught and they can loose their finger. If this is not the case I would ask them why they take it off.

I think that if a man does not wish to wear his ring, or he has a construction job- he should be willing to show his love for you by getting a tattoo ring around his finger. Marriage is forever, right? The whole reason for wearing a ring is to show others that you are taken- If they refuse to wear it- then sell the ring (he wont even notice its missing) and take yourself to NYC! Brand your man!!!!

If my husband would wear his ring to work he would risk losing his finger or worse,he also takes off his watch,he works as a auto tech and as he says once the finger is gone its gone,so I would rather the finger with no ring than no finger at all,if he doesn't have a job like that then honey you got problems
