The answer is simple. All you need to do is look at some of the men's fashion magazines at your local magazine rack to get the latest look. I recommend GQ and Esquire. As a general rule:
The color of your shoes should always match the color of your belt.
Your tie should always be at the same level as your belt buckle
A clean shaven man is much more appealing than a shaggy one.
Stay in shape. Eat less carbs and more veggies.
Cut your hair every six weeks or so. Use "just for men" if you have graying hair. Chics love a youthful look.
Your breath will either keep them or send them away.

Go to a good men's shop and ask for help. Also, lots of times a fashion conscious woman can really be of help with men's clothes.

I used to dress all my men but my husband has his own style (he is French) and he dresses himself.

well if you have a girlfriend of a friend that has a good bit of fashion sense then ask them to help you dress fashionable!
