Freeze it with ice first. When it hardens, easily scrape it off.

Depending on the fabric, dear, there are several ways. Best is to freeze the shirt, with the gum on it and then break it off of the shirt. If that doesnt get it all then take a dab of peanut butter and rub the rest of the gum out. You will have to spot treat the oil stain and don't put the shirt in the dryer until all of the peanut oil is out of the shirt. Another way is to use WD-40, but it may not work as well as the peanut butter. No kidding. peanut butter has some kind of really great chemical reaction with the gum. That is the best way to get it out of hair too!!!! Best wishes. Nana

Try using ice to make the gum hard, and then most of it will scrape off. Goo-gone is also great for removing gum, but you might not be able to use it depending on the fabric of the shirt.

It's very simple. Sounds stupid but take a peanut and break it up and then put it on the gum spot and scrub it with a brush. Always works.Trust me!

Rub an ice cube over it, it will harden and then you can peel it off the shirt.

I have also heard the one about WD-40. That stuff has many uses. I use it to clean my shower all the time.
