Uh...nope! The purpose of life is to bring glory to God. Use the talents and gifts he's given you to make a difference is someone's life. If you think the purpose of life is to find the purpose of life then you're right back where you started from. It's like a 360 degree circle.
Try reading The Purpose Driven Life... I can't remember the author right now,

Yes, we all desire to know the purpose for our life and are unsettled, searching, until we do. Some know from their childhood, others; not until later in life, or by much trial and error. You'll know when you have found your purpose by your inner satisfaction in what you are doing, and by the fact that your purpose will never revolve around you. There are people who make mega bucks who are longing to know the purpose of their life. Success and riches are not the same as knowing the purpose for your life.

Nahh, that would be a bit boring... everyone has their own answers anyways but I'm going to go with the movie click and the line about how at the end of the rainbow, all there really is is cereal. The purpose of life isn't that great. 42.

No, and if it is, then according to your own definition, you are done searching since you already know what the purpose of life is. Therefore, your quest for meaning is over, and on a literary basis, you would have no where else to go unless your understanding of life changes.

GREAT QUESTION!!!! My Answer: NOOOOO!!!!!! Finding the purpose of one's life is Step #1 in a lifelong journey. Steps #2-5,000,000 are FULFILLING that purpose. Life is a constant cycle of purpose definition---action---result---purpose redefinition (rinse and repeat). Without taking action to fulfill one's perceived purpose, one wallows in an intellectual masterbation that is too easily and too purposelessly self-aggrandizing. Go ! Do! Fail! Go Back! Do More ! Rinse and Repeat. (just my 2 cents worth).

No.
People talk about "purpose of life" just to make themselves feel bigger/more important than they really are.
Fact is you're a result of evolution.
No purpose, you're just a bunch of atoms in a particular combination.
