It is said that offering a coupon will bring new customers to your restaraunt...
good food and word of mouth will keep them coming back.

Word of mouth is generally considered the best.
Unfortunately karaoke has become a popular tool to get people in the door.
Some restaurants have taken to pumping their grill exhaust out to the street to attract pedestrians.

Some restaurants have taken to having a "salsa night" or a "tropical night", etc., depending on the neighborhood, and/or the crowd they are trying to attract.

For a new restaurant, make sure you can deliver what your purpose is in that business- good food, warm ambience and quality service. If you'd like, you can make an online site of your business. Don't forget word of mouth, too. Just make sure that each customer will leave with a smile and a happy belly.

Good luck my friend!
