I love jude deveraux, books, but is there any author or some books you like, that are Romance, maybe 1800 era romance but modern will do too, because I love a good romance thanks!!

I don't want them to be dirty, pretty clean book, I mean there can be love making just not detailed

If you're looking for something that isn't smutty, but sentimental try "Bygones" by Laveryle Spencer. If you want something fast paced that has some mystery and action in it, Elizabeth Lowell is a good read. She's a very good writer, and her romance is pretty low on the smutty scale.
As for older romances, Pride and Prejudice is wonderful. Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights may also be good options, but if you like happy endings, stay away from Wuthering Heights.
For simple romance that you could finish in a few hours, older titles by Sandra Brown are good. Her newer stuff is more along the lines of what Elizabeth Lowell writes, but her writing isn't as good. Amanda Quick and Theresa Medieros are good if you like historical romance. Nora Roberts has a few good trilogies if you like stories about witches or the supernatural.
I tend to stay away from Harlequin because they will let anyone publish. It is extremely smutty (which is fine if you like that sort of thing), and the characters are always disappointingly flat.

I find the Harlequin Temptation or Blaze books are good for an afternoon read. They're kinda dirty..lol..which can be fun.
Oooh! There are two books as well...I forget now who authored them...one is called "Bitterleaf" and the other is called "Whippoorwill"--they're historical romances. Very nice reads. I totally recommend you look them up.
Janet Evanovich also writes a mystery-romance series with a character called Stephanie Plum. Her first book is "One for the money", and there are 12 books so far in the series. It's funny, fast paced, has some romantic moments, and overall are some of the best books I've ever read.

Try "Crying Mountain" by Lili Dauphin is'nt Romance but one of the best i've read in a decade.
