I did not have HBO last year (last couple years) and actually bought season 2 Deadwood on DVD. Love it! So I got HBO about 1 month ago and was gearing up to catch up on season 3!! THEY don't repeat? Did I miss season 3 Deadwood? Will they air it again? I don't want to have to buy or rent it since I am PAYING for HBO! :)

HBO's site is not real clear about a repeat schedule. Though one can deduce they SELL IT after airing it.

My cable company offers what they call HBO On Demand, I can watch anything that is on HBO whenever I want too. Sometimes on Sundays, I was not able to watch Deadwood and would watch it on demand. But this year it is not on demand. So I don't know what is going on. And yes you can always buy it on DVD.
