Yes Digital Fortress was quite good. I am a real Dan Brown fan, I find his books really interesting because they are as educational as they are good reads. He always expresses the facts first, both sides, even if in some of his books he is a little biased, he still leaves room for you to draw your own conclusions.

Digital Fortress is about the power of the internet. I know you'd love it. Also read Deception Point, another phenomenal book. I cant wait until the next one.

Digital Fortress is one of the most hilarious books I've ever read. Unfortunately, it was not meant to be comedy. It's just so incredibly bad that it's funny. The characters are wooden, bland, dull and completely lacking in personality. The plot is contrived and built upon flimsy coincidences that would embarrass a freshman in an intro to creative writing class. Brown claims he did some research, but his knowledge of computers and crypto is sadly lacking. It's a truly awful book, and the publisher should be ashamed for publishing such trash. I've tried to get others to read it (it's supposedly about computer security, and I know many people in the field), but after one guy started rolling on the floor laughing at it, nobody else will read it. I can't even give the stupid book away.
