I love it, and I don't think it is, but everyone in my family can't even eat it they say it's way too spicy....

They way most foods are prepared, the chipotle actually is a smoked jalapeno. Smoking or grilling the pepper gets rids of alot of its kick. But on its own it is pretty hot. Not as hot as some but like most people agree, it depends on how you eat it (raw, cooked, burnt) etc. The chipotle ranks 5,000 - 10,000 on the scoville heat scale out of a possible 16,000,000 wow! Check this scale out to see how it ranks with others. Bell pepper is last of course.

Chipotle is awesome, and not spicy at all. You choose the spice level, so your parents should understand that.

Personally, i love, no its not that spicy, no one else can eat it and i don't know why. I love eating them, just enough flavor you know. I don't feel they're spicy at all. Hope to have been of some help!

It's made from dried hot peppers that are smoked. But I think the smoked flavor is great and you can mix them in some sort of cream base to quelch the heat.

I love hot food, so I don't think its very hot. Like the buffalo wings the hotter the better.

Chilpotle is pretty darn hot for many people. BUt I have a high tolerance and I love it.
