my friends tell me that nobody wears a jockstrap any more. i've never worn one myself but do know that they are used in many different sports and by lots of men. so why does nobody wear a jockstrap anymore??

they do. don't know where they got that. I use one at the gym. You think people are going to wear their underwear under their gym shorts? And there's a tv commercial out now with this little guy on a football team getting dressed with big guys all around and he picks up a jock strap belonging to someone else and it's HUGE. In football, they have jock straps and you put the cup inside the jock strap. Same for baseball. You think they wear their underwear underneath?

I wear briefs during the day. When I go to the health club I sometimes wear a jockstrap or my briefs. I like the way a jockstrap feels and looks when i wear it. Sometimes I will go commando too. This feels good too. Try out the options and decide what you like the most. I believe variety is the spice of life.

Because through evolution, men of late developed a protective,spongy sheath like barrier around the "junk". If a baseball was to hit "the eddie and albert", the baseball would wish it had a Jockstrap.

because most of you high impact sports ie: football hackey etc. have taking to having them built right into the uniform as they were never a one size fits all kind of protection lol
