how do you convince someone that the bible is just one of many different paths to god?

there are and have been and will be many different paths to god and thats the truth str8 up... how do you convince someone that the earth is more than 6000 years old....just because its in the bible dont mean its right....many different ideas, many different religions forever and ever .... you may never know the truth....never ever

No one can convince another certain truths except by presenting the information clearly and let the Spirit of God manifest the truthfulness to the person.

Conversion is done from within, not from without.

First off the bible is not the path to God. Jesus is the path to GOD to him alone is given salvation for all men. He is the door of salvation. No one comes to the father except by recieving Jesus as Lord. The bible does not say the earth is 6000 years old. The bible states the earth is of Great Age. The bible states in Genesus from the raising to the setting of the sun. It mean a period of time not a 24 hour day as you may be thinking. The bible is not given by men it is given by insprication of the Holy Spirit so it is authored by God spirit not just by a bunch of men. The reason you can't convince a christian that there is another way to God is because we know God. We are in his family. God still speaks to his people. If you will indulge me a little. Jesus was witnessed by 500 people after resurection they all died with out recanting that which they had witnessed. Jesus is fortold by 4000 years of prophsey and 62 scripture that came in that time about the messiah he completed. Jesus dimenstrated that he was Lord over the elements, that he was Lord over the supernatural and that he was able to do any number of mericals as he willed. Jesus also said I am the way the life and the truth. Jesus said if you have seen me you have have seen the father. God reached down to men in the person of Jesus Christ. In all other faiths men are reaching up to GOD. But if you could reach up to God then God would not have sent us the Word of GOD which is Jesus Christ not the writen word but the Life Giving word of God. Jesus is the manifiestation of God in the flesh, the lamb of creation, Slavtion come as fortold by the prophets of Israel. Jesus is fortold by the prophets. Witnessed in the torah and the new testiment. Again witnessed by the Apostles. And then 500 people testified about him even unto death. So the reason you can't convince people that the bible is not correct is because we do not have a blind faith we have evidence. Now as far as all other religion they offer you no truth and no proof. 2 very large holes with in them. And all religions do not offer a path to God. The hindu faith offers you no truth and has a detached concept of GOD and man. The quran has so much wrong with it that even there own people are murding one another. Men is science have faith that they are right but they have no proof. Men in the quran have faith that they are right but they have a book with such instructions in it that no one could take it as truth. Example Mohammad split the moon is his great merical. Lets get real we all can see the moon. So they have no proof. In the many faiths of the world there are many misgivings. But the true believers of Jesus Christ have a large advantage in there fatih even being unperfect we have been adopted into the family of God. Have recieved forgiveness for all our sins and have also gained the right to have our prayers heard by God who inturns honors our faith in him. So you find a muslim and he will tell you he is praying for the destruction of his enemies. They do not have love. Find a hindu and he will be praying to a cow or a rat to become something greater then he is. Cows and rats are not Gods. In the christian faith people get answers to prayers. They may not come in our time frame but they come. And they may not come as we desire but they come. The difference in our faith is that we have the one true God. If you are praying to cows, rats, black rocks, idols and a host of other false gods who do not answer you ever then what is the point. If your faith does not have a devise to deal with the curse of sin then what is the point. If your God can't be approached on any level then what is the point. No assurity from a real relationship with a all knowing, all powerful, all mighty God then what is your point with wasteing your time. Jesus is the one who gave us all this and more on the cross. He is the door to salvation and to him alone do people come to know the Father. And no other path of salvation shall be given.

You Dont....The Bible Is The Word That was left for us to Follow.It is The Gospel, The Word...If we didnt need it we wouldnt have it...These Man Made Ideas Are That IDEAS! Read your Bible, Study It... Unless you are trying to get to a different God!

Good luck trying to convince any Christian of that. The Bible tells us that Jesus is the only path of salvation and no one gets to the father but by him. Obviously, if someone believes what the Bible says, they aren't gonna buy your "you can get to god by any path" bull. I take offense to someone trying to tell people that they can get to God by any path. That is leading people to believe a lie. What "path" are you taking? My guess is none.

Nothing you could say would convince me. The Bible is God's handbook for our lives "A light onto our feet and a lamp onto our paths." It doesn't matter how old it is it. It is the living word and more relevant than ever.
