Well you're not supposed to even start trying until the pill has been out of your system for 60-90 days, because the hormones could harm the embryo, so it is good you're not pregnant yet. After that your best bet is to chart your cycle so you know how long it is and when you ovulate. Then have sex 2 days before ovulation, the day of, and 2 days after every month. Don't do it a lot for the rest of the month since you want to keep the sperm count high. Also, neither you nor your partner should smoke or drink alcohol. Both affect fertility. Good luck.

Quit taking the pill, track your ovulation (usually 14 days after the first day of your period). When I went off the pill to get pregnant, I was told to wait 3 months before conceiving, I don't think that is true anymore.

I took the pill for 6.5 years and quit it to have a baby. I didn't get a period for 6 weeks, then I finally had a period and I got pregnant on that cycle, give your body sometime to adjust living without the pill. It'll happen just be patient.

Are you trying to get pregnant? It takes the average couple six months to a year to conceive. Just keep having sex, and it will eventually happen.
I got pregnant ON the pill. With BOTH of my kids.
Give it time. Your hormones are still getting used to being without the extra help, as it were.
Good luck. :)

A friend of mine got pregant on the pill when she had the flu she puked her pill for a couple of days and it was not wrking at full strength. The same can happen if you have the runs and it does not absorb fully. It is just like missing a day.

it can take a few months for the hormones to actually leave your body completely.
The average time after being on birth control is about 8 months, though until a year there is no cause for concern. Chances are only about 25% any given month if sex is properly timed.

Unfortunately you can get pregnant at anytime in your cycle. It's just more likely that you will get pregnant at certain times.
The pill is only 98% effective. There are the 2% who get pregnant on the pill.
I know it sounds like a cliche but the only protection against pregnancy is abstinence.

the pill is not 100% guarantee. If you think about it nothing is a guarantee unless you don't have sex
