It is a fictional book I think the Character's name is Davenport, at the end of the book his top 100 rock songs were listed. I want to get this list, but can't remember which book it was.

Sometimes people draw inspiration from flipping through a phone book at random, assuming there's a phone book available to you. Any old phone book will do. It doesn't have to be current. Is the setting present day or in the past? I ask because names like Jamie, Ashley, Robin, just to pick 3, all used to be strictly boy names. What about a last name from your own family? On look through online news articles for names as inspiration.
