you see im 13.my styles more...preppy but there r times i just wanna be punk but im afraid my friends would like judge me on that because im usually prep..how can i make rocker prep...and what do i do with my hair?

Punk is a subculture, a mindset, a political statement. It is NOT: a style, a way to dress, a shop at the mall, a way to do your hair. Dressing up as a punk does not a punk make. It's called: 'Being a poser." And that's something you don't want to be, alright? Go look up punk on Wikipedia. And if your 'friends' shun you because of the way you dress, what kind of friends are they? Think about it...peace.

First of all, dress how you feel comfortable. Definately mix the styles. Try a preppy shirt with some worn, torn jeans and black converse.

you shouldnt dress yourself like that. To be honest Prep, rocker, emo, and all that crap is rediculous and a waste of time. Be a trend setter not a trend follower.

dress how you want, if the prep friends don't accept you for that, they obviously aren't real good friends.....you should be able to dress how you want and hang with whom you want

you could wear a miniskirt and a striped tunic, and some type of gloves. (like,striped ones that are almost as long as your arm.) i wear a lot of girly jeans with a super-long gray and black striped shirt and black fingernails, totally punk.
