Absolutely not. I think you should be whoever you want to be and whoever you feel most comfortable being. That's what it is all about. Don't worry about letting other people judge you and always worrying about what other people think.

Of course not, and neither is being a tomboy, a boyish girl, a masculine woman, a manly man, a sissy boy, a feminine boy, a womanly man, etc., etc.. It's just who you are!

However, if you're going to be the ditzy variety of girly girl a la Paris Hilton and bring all the bad stereotypes to life in being a girly girl, then I'm going to have to say no, please don't, and ick.

Being a girly girl in not a bad thing. To each his own, everyone has the right to happiness. As long as you aren't bullying other people not being a girly girl, no one has any right to bully you. If people don't like you, it's their problem!

I define a "girly girl" as someone who enjoys nail polish, ruffles, curls in their hair, etc. I don't know if we're on the same page. If that's what you like, go for it. Don't worry about what other people think/feel. I'm "between the piano keys" with it---I like all that stuff, but being that way all the time would drive me nuts!

No it's fine as long as you're true to yourself and don't stereotype yourself. I mean don't just try to seem girlie and let it stop you from trying things that are supposed to be masculine if you want to.

Actually, yes I do. Just today a soft butch told me women like ME make her nervous. She also said she was looking for someone more androgenous. It takes a special kind of stud to go for women like us, I'm sorry to say. I get this over and over. I can't help being curvey or the way I look!!!!!! I happen to like wearing makeup and nice clothes and perfume, ect. Just hang in there and keep looking.

If you're doing it for yourself, as in that's just who you are, then no.
But if you're doing it cause you think it's what is expected of you, and you're just following expectations, then it's bad.

Not at all! In fact if you present yourself more career oriented and organised...get a good education....I sure you will go along way in life!

Just remember to be yourself and do not try to change to please someone else....the important one is you.
