T-Mobile prepaid will run you as low as $0.10/min. If you need free mobile-to-mobile, Cingular has a similar rate, but you'll get hit with a $1 access charge for each day you actually make or receive a call.
If your usage runs regularly over 300 minutes, you may be better off with a regular (postpaid) plan.

well prepaid is good, but in the end, you end up spending the average amount you would spend on an actual cricket phone bill. now i KNOW that it seems too good to be true, but the plan includes unlimited talk time. period. you can talk all day every day, and your bill will always amount to the first paycheck. never more, but sometimes less. the phones arent very cheap, but its because there is no credit check, so you dont have to pay down, thereas no service termination fee, and there isnt an activation fee in most areas.

It depends on where you are in the country. Cingular is pretty decent if your phone does not stay attached to your ear. If you talk a lot, pre-paid is not the way to go.

Virgen mobile.
Im on one of there plans $50 a month free nights and weekends. & 400 anytime min. & then if you text theres a $10 text plan you get 1000 text..
