go to http://join.msn.com/?page=hotmail/plans&pgmarket=en-us and click free then it's pretty self explanitory. BTW: Hotmail is the same as msn and windows live its all the passport network.

its simpel go to www.msn.com then it should say get msn messanger or something like that and you click it
