Don't read more into a muscular twitch than it actually is. Sometimes twitches are just an indication of a little chemical imbalance in the body such as a lack of electrolytes. Also too much caffeine, stress, or overuse and muscle fatigue of the eye/ eyelid can be at fault. If it continues for say longer then 3-4 weeks or other symptoms appear consult your doctor.

When It first started i was annoyed and worried after a couple days i started to Google Left eye twitching except mine was twitching at the top not the bottom. Well the first article i read said eminent demise I knew what it meant but i never looked it up like everything else but kept it in the back of my mind. Other articles described vice versa, and medical conditions. It started when she went in the hospital and never stopped until a week ago when my grandmother died.

That happens to me when I work alot of 3rd shifts. Its just b/c you are tired. Get some sleep.
It's kinda annoying huh? I am always worried that other people can see my eyes twitch.
There is also some superstiction that it means something when your eye twitches, but I don't remember what exactly.

Could be you are over tired or stressed, others will not notice it unless you point it out, it will go away and in 2 months time you will forget you had it, it may come back at times of stress. I get it in the left eye every now and again, the best thing is do not worry about it and next time you visit your doctor just mention it.

A nerve in your eye is acting up or it's tired. If it continues to bother you, see your eye doc if you have one or an othomologist (as opposed to an optometrist) because they're more specialized.

No, this is normal. One of the nerves on the left side of your face keeps firing up that twitch-that in itself is not normal, but that condition is very common and will eventually correct itself. This may happen to many parts of the body, and again it will take care of itself in almost every case....KECK

I had a friend who had them and then had a stroke and he said it was from his high blood pressure that wasn't controlled.
I had it too like constantly for weeks, on and off for 2 months and it finally went away after I went to the Dr and eye Dr. and they couldn't tell me what it was.
It sure is annoying isn't it.

It usually means you mean more sleep, it could mean you need more water or certain electrolytes like potassium or calcium. It's not dangerous or harmful, just your body telling you it needs something.
p.s. don't listen to mad hatter, it's NOT a sign of cancer....don't be mean!
