There's not enough information to answer the question. We need to know at least one angle as well as the length of two sides.

13 - if the triangle contains a right angle.
c² = a² + b²
hypotenuse² = sum of the areas of the two legs
i.e. 13² = 12² + 5²
169 = 144 +25
Another example is the "3,4,5 triangle"
The length of the hypotenuse is 5, and the other sides have lengths of 3 and 4
3² +4² = 5²
9 + 16 = 25

Can't, Need to know if it is a right triangle. If it isn't, need an angle. (Left means absolutely nothing). However if you mean it is a "Right triangle, and the 12 is the Hypotenuse, then the answer is 10.908712

okay i just answer one of them like 5 min ago
so heres what u do:
a^2 + b^2 = c^2
so now just plug the numbers in the equation
if 12 is not the hypotheue then it should be like this:
12^2 + 5^2 = c^2
144 + 25 = c^2
169 = C^2
C = 13
got it???
