Yeah, tell your mom. He is a pervert. Yes to a certain degree he is supposed to talk to you about sex, but not in that way. He said he likes describing these different types of sexual acts. Something is wrong with him. When there is a patient and the doctor is of the opposite sex there is supposed to be another doctor/nurse the same sex as the patient. For example: You are a female he is a male there was supposed to be another female in there like a nurse. If it makes you feel comfortable some docs. let you bring along a friend or female along. But I would definitely change my doctor from a male to a female. He just seems like a freak. I just don't know what type of men actually like taking that job, it just seems very freaky to me. THAT'S JUST MY OPINION. BUT DEFINITELY TELL YOUR MOM. AND DON'T GO BACK TO HIM.

Sounds to me like he was just trying to mabe give you helpful advice, since you didn't mention exactly what it was that he said to you and he didn't touch you in an inappropriate way from what you have said. Some poor young females are clueless to the birds and the bees type of talk, because they have parents that do not care or are to uptight to talk about it. If you are going to the gyno for the first
time I am sure that you are gonna feel uncomfortable. I don't think anyone would exposing themselves to a total stranger. His job is to keep your vagina healthy and I am sure that it could include talking about different types of sex. The reason he probably told you that he likes to talk about that stuff when parents are not in the room is to save you some embarrassment. I am sure you wouldn't have wanted to hear that with her there. You never mention him saying that you should keep that just between you and him so I assume he isn't trying to hide or get away with anything. By all means though, this doesn't mean he wasn't in the wrong. Tell your mom word for word what happened and what was said and get her opinion. If she is uptight about talkin with you, talk to your family doctor or a friend you can trust. But don't blow things out of proportion for the poor guy for doing his job and trying to help you without getting some other peoples opinions.

You should tell your mom how you feel and maybe she could talk to you about things so you wouldnt feel so uncomfortable. Many gyno's talk about sex with their patients (in fact, probably all do). Their job is to make sure you're getting the best out of your sex life emotionally and physically AND most importantly to take care of... down there. Now, speaking about sex with a MALE gyno might be a lot more uncomfortable then with a female. Maybe your mom can look into getting you a female gyno.

You should ask for a different doctor, maybe ask for a female gyno...its understandable too since most young girls prefer female docs.
Doctors ask a lot about sex, because they think teens don't know about the risks of sex and what constitutes sex. Doctors will explain that oral sex, anal sex, etc etc are all sex b/c they want to know if their patient engages in ANY sexual activities that the patient may not be aware are risky activities.
So its completely normal if your gyno explained diff. sex activities, but if he really did make you feel uncomfortable, tell your mom and switch.

YES!
You don't say how old you are, but I'm assuming you are a minor. Tell her!
How did you come to having an appointment with that doctor. Is he your mom's GYN? A doctor who is good with older women may not have the proper approach for someone who is young or a teen.
Tell her what happened. Ask her if she can find a female doctor for you to see. Granted, not all female doctors are great - but when it comes to discussing "personal" matters, most young girls feel more at ease talking to a woman.
If she is hesitant, or doesn't know how to look for another physician for you, talk to a teacher, or the mom of one of your friend's that you like and trust.
As a young lady, you need to have an OB/GYN that you like and trust. You're going to be seeing one for years to come - so the sooner you can find a good one, the better.
Good luck, hun. I hope you can find someone who makes you feel at ease.

because you at the instantaneous are not sexually lively, you gained't want a pap smear, so no favor to freak out. They advise a lady get her first both at the same time as she's 21 or interior 3 years of changing into sexually lively, yet i advise in simple terms waiting until eventually you're tender with the perception, in spite of the indisputable fact that if this is not until eventually you're 40! because you're going for era complications, you healthcare professional will ask you about your complications, or perhaps perhaps draw some blood, do a blood stress verify, and so on. you gained't ought to modify outfits for that. in the experience that they advise doing a pap smear and also you do not favor to, in simple terms say no (or lie and say you're on your era). Like I suggested, there is not any favor to freak out. you've a good to refuse something you at the instantaneous are not tender with. sturdy success.

I don't know how old you are but I can tell that you are freaked.
Yeah, I would mention it to her. The other thing is you need to tell him in front of a witness (hopefully an adult) that what he is talking about makes you really uncomfortable
If that fails find a woman gynecologist honey. At least they have an idea what you are going through.

Completely unethical and he could lose his license if your Mom pursues this. Tell your Mom right away and see if she wants to complain. Of course you will need a new doctor. Instead of a Gyno find a Family Physican as they are trained to see all members of the family but do specialize in gyn-ob, too. My sister is a Family Physician, and believe me if she knew about this it would be dealt with. He was inappropriate to you and you need to tell your Mom. Best of luck to you!!

This is a very difficult situation because he has an interest in having you be honest about your sexual life. This is his specialty, like it or not. You do have the right to request that a female nurse be present during the examination and if he's honorable, he'll respect that without a second thought.
