Don't forget that as the body heals the mind may be considering...'sh!t don't wanna do that again soon'!!!! Just that when you have just had a baby, you think of sex as a means to pregnancy!! So the mind may take a lil longer to register that sex/pleasure does not mean intercourse/conceiving!!! Not to mention the tiredness and everything else that having a baby entails...
Enjoy your new baby and think of the woman that had to endure pain and sacrifice(awwww)to bring your lil 'un into the world!!!
I'm sure the last thing that is on her mind is humpy bumpy and gettin' jiggy wiv Mr Biggy!!hehehe Just give her a lil more time;-}
If she didn't have c-section, then you can guarantee that she should be sitting on a rubber ring and it's still rather raw...

Congratulations on the birth of you daughter. It can vary from women to women when its a good time to have sex after delivery, but its possible to have sex the day of delivery if everything went normal, but not many women can. It normally takes around 6 weeks as the bleeding can last between 3-6 weeks, if she tore and had stitches it takes about 4 weeks for the stitches to heal. i personally was able to have sex at 4 weeks I tore and had stitches, and I had heaps of salt baths to help it heal quickly, breastfeeding will help put her uterus back to normal. If she is ready then she should be able to but she will know in herself if she is ready. If she had a complicated birth it may be a little longer then a complicated free birth.
Warning it is very easy to fall pregnant after birth so use protection. Otherwise you will have another baby on the way. Best of luck. and once again Congratulations.

All women heal at a different rate. If this is her first one then it's best to wait until she's ready. Only she knows her body and what she can do afterwards. The doctor says to wait about 6 weeks but that's to make sure her body heals properly and she does not hemmorage. If she feels comfortable enough to have sex before the 6 weeks are up then go for it. Make sure to wear use birth control.

The most important answer is...When she is ready!
She may be a little nervous at the prospect of having sex again, especially if she has had sutures, and has taken awhile to get over them. Providing she is ready and you are ready then take it slow and let her guide you as to how physical to get.
Just keep in mind after child birth, and especially if shes's had sutures the body can take up to 6 months to get back to its pre-pregnant state in the vaginal area, use loads of lubricant, and remember birth control, even if she is brest feeding she can get pregnant right away again. If she is not ready be patient, giving birth is a big even in any womans life and being over emotional mixed with sleepless nights can kill any womans sex drive. Just remember if if shes not ready, shes not rejecting you, and she still loves you as much as she ever did.
Hope this helps..

it somewhat is risk-free to have intercourse for the period of being pregnant, in certainty some women discover it greater relaxing. I bear in ideas while my youngster's mothers have been pregnant, this being the case with the two one in all them. i did not ever pay attention approximately their components hurting, so i don't understand if it somewhat is commonplace, yet I doubt this is hurting the toddler. you in basic terms would desire to purpose different positions so which you will discover what's maximum gentle for you. No place is any greater or much less risky for the toddler, and that i've got been advised with the aid of medical doctors that intercourse is totally risk-free all for the period of the being pregnant (I had this situation, and asked them). i'm hoping this helps. Congratulations on your toddler. PEACE

with my first child I had episiotomy and internal stitches and still had sex within two weeks or so.BUT it depends on your wife really and what she feels comfortable with.
If she was reading this..... I would advise here to get sex over and done with so to speak as with some women the fear of having sex again and it being uncomfortable can be so overwhelming that it can create a complex.BUT DON'T MAKE HER IF SHES NOT READY.
