I was in the kitchen cooking and just popped in the living room to see what he was doing and there he was picking his nose and then he stuck a snort he picked on the sofa (he didn't know I was watching) I was so upset with him....I told him to take it off and wash his hands. Now he is upset with me....he is 40 and should know thats disgusting. Shall I just let him sulk or shall I apologise??

He is only mad cause he got caught. He will calm down, let the smoke clear then have a loving talk with him. But do not demean him. Also always keep Kleenex in the living room

Lol, I have to scream at my guy (28 yrs old) to stop picking his nose & go wash his hands all the time! It's a guy thing. But you shouldn't apologize, it's a nasty habit that they have!

Easy. Tell him cheerfully and sympathetically that every time you see him doing something disgusting like that, you will not sleep with him for two days. Or three, or whatever works for you. This works very well. You CAN housetrain men using sex, it's very effective.

let him sulk..there is no reason to be such a pig..even in his own home..

What a horrible habbit..It wouldnt be so bad if he oicked it and then wiped it on a tissue or a paper towel, then threw it away..

But to wipe it on the couch..ugghhhh

How many other times has this happened? Makes one wonder...

Let him sulk. He was wrong and probably nose ( I couldn't resist the pun) it. Most people pick their noses occassionally in private. Most people use handkerchiefs or kleenex.

That is gross, and why would you apologize? My two year old grand son has better manners. Tell him to grow up that is not acceptable behavior. Tell him next time to get his lazy butt up and get a piece of tissue and blow his nose. Yuck! Good luck and God bless****

That is funny! Yes, he should know better, but he is old enough. I would tell him it bothers you and apologize for being so upset with him. He should understand that you think it is disgusting!
