We are going to Disney World in December and I want to be sure to do everything I can with my kids who are 9 y/o and 4 y/o. I want to know the best places to do dinner shows, character dinners, or just to dine in that would be great!!

I agree with the guy above. The Rainforest Cafe at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park is a great restaurant. The atmosphere is exciting, especially for children, the staff is excellent, and the food is very fresh. At EPCOT try the Coral Reef Restaurant. The aquarium acts as one of the walls of the restaurants, so you can see the tank and fish from any table. The kids love it. It's a gorgeous restaurant with fabulous food. Try the Chocolate Wave for dessert, it's to die for! At the Disney Studios one of my favorite restaurants is Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano. The food is fresh and the restaurant is adorable. Wood floors, brick wall, little white lights everywhere, and an open kitchen. The brick walls are covered in writing from others who've dined there. The kids can sign their name on the wall if they'd like. At the Magic Kingdom the Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh and friends and Cinderella's Royal Table with Cinderella and others are very popular character dining experiences. My favorite restaurant at the Magic Kingdom is Tony's Town Square. It's themed to "Lady and the Tramp" and they serve wonderful Italian food. See the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show at Disney's Polynesian Resort. It's wonderful and it's all-you-care-to-eat. Also at Disney's Polynesian Resort is 'Ohana where they have an all-you-care-to-eat family-style breakfast buffet with Lilo and Stitch and others. At Disney's Contemporary Resort try Chef Mickey's. They have a breakfast and dinner character buffet that are both quite popular.

Hope I could help! Have a great vacation!

Charater dinner are nice, but very expensive. Also you dont always get alot of charater time for what you pay. The Rainforest cafe at the Downtown Disney area is great. Food,Price and the Atmoshere is killer. My kids love the fish aquariums and the rain clouds and show. the link below should help.

I would suggest Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort. This is a buffet with character dining. Mickey and friends come out and sign autographs and take pics with each table.

Earl of Sandwich in Downtown Disney is good and reasonably priced. You will have a great time at the Hoopy-Doo show but it is about $50 adult, which includes the show and all you can eat.
