Livi, I have a daughter, she's 21 now. I would be heart broken to know that she was hurting and confused. And if she doesn't even know you got your period, then honey I think you need to skip the boyfriends for awhile and get to know your Mom.
I remember when I was in the seventh grade, you are going through a lot of emotional stuff right now. A Mom you can talk too would be great. Can't you see yourself sharing some of this with her. Please try.
Now, about this nineth grader. If you really really like him, then talk to him. Tell him up front you aren't going in for no kissing and no touching. If he can't deal with that, then drop him. If he's truly interested in you then he will give the chance to be comfortable with the idea of kissing him. My daughter broke up with a boy because he started smoking again. So, you be careful with young man. I don't want to read on here later on that you went out with him and now you are pregnant.
Kissing, touching, and even sex is fun stuff, I am not going to lie to you. But with it comes other stuff that's not so fun. You don't sound you are ready for this kind of relationship, and if you don't want to sound like a "baby" or not cool, then tell him you are grounded. Or tell him the truth that you haven't gotten permission from your Mom, and she would ground you for life if you went out with him without her ok'ing it.
Livi, please see if you can speak to your Mom. Give her another chance. We parents don't always don't know the right answers, but we do care.

if you want more answers, use spell check(not to be rude but it is hard and frustrating to read)If you are in the seventh grade and he in in the ninth grade and used to smoke do your self a big favor say no!!!!!! who cares if you originally said yes Your are a strong young lady at liberty to change her mind! Boys can be confusing and in the ninth grade they are just jerks and sweetie you need to avoid the bad ones especially if you are a self respecting young woman, I am sure your mom knows about your period, if not I have to wonder what is wrong with your relationship with your mother that you don't feel comfortable enough to tell her stuff. Work on your mother /daughter relationship, forget about this guy. Just say you are grounded. Good luck

Do what you want to do. Who cares what other people think. You will learn this as you get older. If you dont want to go out with him becuase you are afraid of him kissing you then don't. It's your body, your life. Do with it what you will.
As for the period thing, well you got me there. All i can say is you should be able to talk with your mom.

Like, OMG in basic terms bypass detect him! Like, you could bypass to the pool and totally located on the comparable bathing journey so he recollects you---OMG wait! when that person mentioned that you should ask your mom, that person meant ask someone who was older, and more experienced with these things.
but as for the guy thing... if you don't want to go out with him, just let him know that you would rather be friends (that way he won't kiss you). either way, good luck!

first of all tell her you got your period! What do you think your mom would say to that question and do you really want an answer from her? Trust your gut.
