I was born in 1973 and my parents were like total Republicans, so they were definitely not hippies. Although, I did see a picture that was taken in the 70's with something in the background that definitely looked like a bong at their summer cottage and they are sitting with their friends looking like they were having a very "good" time. The 80's and early 90's was my era I guess and I was lucky enough to tour with the Dead for 2 summers in my teens which was really cool. I'm way more mainstream now and I think all the LSD I did definitely affected me in not the best way.

I was born in the 60's and grew up with a brother who was a hippie and had a lot of hippies around our house....I loved it and I loved their music and the way they dressed....their hairstyles and everything about them....I wanted to be a flower child and I dressed like one when I went to school and wore hippie clothes when it wasn't considered cool in the 80's that was a blast...

I caught the tail end of the hippie era, but that was mostly in the 60's - pretty much ended by 73 or so
