Different e-mails are assigned to different hotmail servers by default. What this means is, whilst hotmail may work for some users, it may not work for others.

I presume it's simply a problem with one of their servers, it happens every now and then. A lot of the time you'll get an error saying the server is too busy.

Good day. Probably yur hompage is wrong or your temporary internet files need cleaning up.

Start and Control Panel
Under classic view, click Internet Properties
Under the General Tab, clear your history, cookies & Temporary internet files. It may seem long and the window might stick but it is doing its job. In intenet explorer 7 click delete under browsing history. Now Change your homepage address to www.hotmail.com. When finished, go through each tab all the way to advanced tab and click restore defaults or restore advanced settings and click Apply. Please do this when not connected to the net and browsing webpages. Restart your computer and try. Laterz

Sometimes I get a "Server Busy" message (saying that a lot of people are using the site), but if I clear my private data and refresh the page, that usually works for me.

Yes I have had terrible problems for the past few days and received the same message as you. After reporting it they checked and said my account was o.k. but still the same thing happened, sometimes I can access my account in the afternoon but it really is very annoying but good to know that it isn't my computer at least.

Not today, but the other day I did. Apparently, there was maintenance going on or something - maybe they're doing it again.

(BTW - I saw the same question on here earlier, so it's probably not just you)
